Above is the scripted
sequence in which the scientist is killed by the hellstorm
as it invades Mars City. The scenario was quite
interesting as I swapped animations of two different NPCs to seamlessly make the one scientist
transition from idle to scared. The hellstorm triggers
a gas pipe explosion in a nearby wall and the force propels
a panel into the nearby scientist. Needless to say, he
doesn't survive the impact.
